Street Fighter edition of Monopoly to be released
Themed Monopoly board games are always fun to play, as they add even more variety and interest to the game itself. Now, it has been announced that USAopoly is in the process of developing a version of Monopoly with the theme of the Street Fighter game. This will be good news for Street Fighter fans who also like to dabble in board games from time to time. This will also be fantastic for die-hard Monopoly fans who like to dabble in Street Fighter from time to time, as they can bring the two worlds into one.
This new version of the famous board game is still in the early stages of development. While they wait, fans will have to occupy themselves with their other hobbies such as playing Party Poker or video games online. However, the prototype of the packaging has been released at Capcon-Unity, so fans should head over and have a look. Visitors to that site have also had the chance to vote on the tokens that will appear in the box itself when it is released. The list of possible inclusions has been narrowed down to six, with the winners being made and used during actual game-play.
This Street Fighter game of Monopoly will be a special Collector's Edition. The locations that the players will be able to buy, sell and trade will be taken from the most iconic characters that have appeared in the Street Fighter game over a total of 25 years. These will include Ryu on the Rooftops of Japan, Makoto in the Karate Dojo and Major Bison in the Shadaloo Headquarters. This should get Street Fighter fans excited for the release, and it will be interesting to see what the finished version ends up looking like.
